HS2 Vertical Windlass for Boats up to 10m/35ft

Vertical Windlasses are the most popular design, and more traditional alternative, because they are less noticeable on the deck. Their gearbox & motor are stowed below the deck and out of the wettest environment, the motor is safer from water corrosion. It takes up less space on the deck, easy to maintance. Usually, it requires a larger hole for the gypsy shaft and chains. Suitable for boats with larger chain lockers that allow for a fall of minimum of 18 inches. The rode makes a full 180° wrap around the gypsy, providing added security, and feeds through a deck pipe to the anchor locker, making a 90° turn, giving a more secure lift. High speed drop of up to 35m / 115 ft. per minute and manual free fall with adjustable clutch. Works with chain only or rope/chain combination.

With a upgrade IP68 fully waterproof design motor, constructed from 316 stainless steel deck unit and gypsy shaft for long term, trouble-free operation.
